CCM is a division of UMA
Policy Regarding Media Coverage
- CME meetings are private educational activities.
- All requests for media credentials must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to the start of the meeting.
- Unlessa separate press office has been established, allrequests should bemade directly to the institution/physician presentingthe meeting.
- A current press badge and/or a letter on letterhead from a supervisor must accompany all requests.
- Thedecision to issue media credentials is made on acase-by-case basis; themeeting presenter and agents of the presenterreserve the right to denycredentials to any individual and need notprovide a reason.
- Themeeting presenter and agents of the presenter reserve theright torevoke media credentials at any time and need not provide areason.
- Media representatives cannot record any portion of the meeting, including activities in the exhibit hall.
- Media representatives must make requests for interviews with speakers directly to Complete Conference Management.
